"Peace" and "Equality" Actions in Washington, DC
In preparation for the "Across the USA" trip, my friend Belle and I decided to practice the "Peace" and "Equality" Actions, since they were designed to encourage people participation.
On May 5, 2013, Belle, Matt (who were doing the "Across the USA" trip with me) and I went to Dupont Circle, one of the busiest area in Washington DC. We performed the actions for about 4 hours, and had a great time doing them. We received good feedback and even suggestions from the people we met. We were unable to use the tea candles during the "Peace Action" because it was a very breezy day. |
